Molly Ivins on Why She Will Not Support Hillary Clinton for President

"Enough. Enough triangulation, calculation and equivocation. Enough clever straddling, enough not offending anyone This is not a Dick Morris election. Sen. Clinton is apparently incapable of taking a clear stand on the war in Iraq, and that alone is enough to disqualify her. Her failure to speak out on Terri Schiavo, not to mention that gross pandering on flag-burning, are just contemptible little dodges."

I have to agree with Molly Ivans on this front. Ms. Clinton seems to be doing a good job as a senator, which seems, to me, more valuable than putting herself in the presidential race. She is doomed to lose, for the very ambivalent attitudes Ms. Ivans has pointed out. Clinton is too hawkish for my taste, and too quick to bow out when the rights of someone like Terri Schiavo come into play.
