Personality and Politics

"Remember the whiny, insecure kid in nursery school, the one who always thought everyone was out to get him, and was always running to the teacher with complaints? Chances are he grew up to be a conservative."

In the end, does it really matter who has what political leaning? I'm so sick and tired of hearing that "liberals are this way and believe in these things while conservatives are that way and associate with these beliefs." Is it so impossible to find one common goal that we can ALL work on?

As we are spending all of our energy on condeming the "other," the things that really matter are falling by the wayside. Both parties, then, are really at fault. It's about time that people start looking at the "bigger picture."

Good point! The liberal vs. conservative rhetoric may have outlived its usefulness long ago.
